Birch Creek and Backyard Barbeque

Utah's Free Fishing Day was June 2nd this year. Since Zac and I were back in his home state and all fired up from our hand-fishing the other day, we loaded up the car, grabbed Lane and Cashlyn, and drove up to Birch Creek to crash Haden, Ashley, and Brackyn's family camping trip.

Zac caught a fish and Haden found a snake, but the rest of us struck out, so we piled back into the car and returned home to make a bonfire and hobo dinners. Brackyn rode a hay bale and a goat, Lane beat everyone at marshmallow-eating, and I tried to learn how to throw a rope in the moonlight.

All in all, it was a pretty perfect night.
